Meet Rosebud
we hope to inspire others to create a ritual of their owN
We’re sisters (Harper on the left and Haley on the right) raised in a family of bakers and coffee drinkers. Taking time out of the day to sit down, enjoy a cup of coffee, a homemade treat, and good conversation is a ritual started by our grandmother, Leona. After school we would often stop at our grandparent’s house for coffee and a cookie or a brownie or a slice of rhubarb cake—really, whatever delicious treat she baked that day. This ritual inspired a lifetime love of baking and is the inspiration behind our bakery—Rosebud Bakery is named in honor of Leona, who was born and raised in Rosebud County, Montana. At Rosebud Bakery we hope to inspire others to create a ritual of their own…slow down, enjoy a treat and sip on a good cup of coffee with someone you love.
the bakery
At Rosebud Bakery we focus on handmade, artisanal baked goods and sourdough breads made with high-quality local ingredients.
We opened in Tucson in late-2020 out of Harper’s certified home kitchen. Our Tucson brick-and-mortar location featuring our delicious baked goods as well as a full coffee bar opened in summer 2024. Follow @rosebudbakeryaz and subscribe to our newsletter to find out about special offerings, events, and deals!

ROSEBUD 101
what time do items hit the case?
All items are first-come, first-serve so we recommend arriving early. Our case is full when we open. If you are looking for croissants, they’re typically in the case after 9am. Sourdough loaves are out after 9am on Thrusday, Saturday, and Sunday. Baguettes are in the case on Fridays around 10am. English muffin are in the case around noon on Thursdays. Sandwiches come out after 11am Thursday through Saturday.
If you are coming for something specific, it’s best to come close to those times to avoid disappointment.
Why can’t you just make more?
Everything we make is handmade. Our space is small and almost all of the items we make require 3 days of prep, which takes up a lot of our available space over the course of that time. We utilize every available inch to bake as much as we can!
Transit/Parking
We have plenty of bike parking on the south side of our building. We are also 1 block south of the 5 Points Tugo (Tucson’s bikeshare program) bike station if you don’t have your own bike. There are plenty of mass transit options, as we are less than a block away from the 6th Ave/18th Street bus stop; only a 12 minute walk from the Tucson Street Car stop at Broadway/6th Ave; or a 5 minute Tugo ride from the street car stops at Ronstadt Center or Tucson Convention Center. As a sustainable business, we encourage you to ride, skip, walk, or mass transit whenever possible. If you choose to drive, there’s ample free street parking on 6th Ave or 19th Street to both the east and west. Please don’t park in the gated parking behind the bakery, this is reserved for residents of the Flash TV apartments and you will be towed.
Seating
You can pick up your goodies to go, cozy up in our indoor cafe seating, or enjoy some nicely shaded outdoor seating under an oak tree. We even have counter seating where you can watch the bakery concoct our delectable delights!
DOGS
Animals are not allowed inside the bakery per Pima County health code. Registered and leashed ADA service dogs are welcome.
